* Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
* Turn to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post that sentence (plus one or two others if you like) along with these instructions on your blog or (if you do not have your own blog) in the comments section of Storytime with Tonya and Friends.
*Post a link along with your post back to Storytime with Tonya and Friends.
* Don’t dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST.

Closest book: Fallen by Lauren Kate
P56, 5th sentence:

This girl was probably playing dumb so Luce would relive the whole mortifying scene.

Is this a sequel to one you've done before? The cover looks familiar but slightly different and I keep thinking I should find this book!

Okay, I would have bought this book just because the cover looks amazing!

Here’s my 56 offering.

Tonya: No, Fallen is not a sequel. This is the first book of a new author. However, they are now advertising for the second book of the Fallen series which will be titled Torment to come out in September 2010.

Justine: I pinched the pic of the cover from amazon because my copy does not have any pic on the cover. It just have big "Fallen" letters in it, la di da di da. A boring ARC copy.

I have to admit the 5th sentence of page 56 is not very inspiring. I haven't reached that page yet when I posted my Friday 56 :) couldn't say much else then. Now, having passed that page, it isn't what it seems.
