2012 The Movie

Verdict: Recommended movie to watch.

Mike took me to the movies lastnight. I had a blast watching 2012. I like the way the story gave credibility to the delimma by tying it up with science which is plausable in our present scientific advancement. A credible futuristic movie. I know, a contradiction of terms, but I like that in a science fiction. So as far as "suspension of disbelief" goes, I give it a 4 out of 5. I also like the way they play out the emotional dynamics of a regular divorced family. A bit sugar-coated, but I like it none the less. There are so many divorced families now-a-days that it has almost become the "norm", I'm pretty sure a lot of people can connect with that. Over all, I give this film a 4 out of 5.

Cherry's Rating: 4 out of 5 cherries

Never before has a date in history been so significant to so many cultures, so many religions, scientists, and governments. '2012' is an epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors.

  1. I saw this already, as I downloaded it off the net.

Pretty amazing stuff, makes you wonder what will happen before Christmas in a couple years. Of course most people don't believe it, and those will learn soon enough.

I say make the best of the time we have left.

  2. Thanks for the review. I can't wait to see this.

  3. I sooooo want to see this! Thanks for the review!

  4. I'm so glad! I've been wanting to see this and have heard some not so good reviews but I'm a sucker for disaster movies and for John Cusack so I know it's absolutely made for me! About the whole "based in science," they did that with "The Day After Tomorrow" too which just made the movie so much better for me.

  5. We've been hesitant on this one but we'll go see it now!
