Same model, same dress, different cover arts for two totally different books... whatcha think?
The second one looks like it was cropped from the first. It really makes me wonder what is going on, especially since these are two different publishers.
I think the publishers bought generic stock photo which is cheaper and took the chance that it might be bought and used by another publisher as well. Them publishers buy from the same places after all... which I think what happened here... and then here comes picky readers like me who notices it...

ReplyDeleteI think if I was either of these authors, I'd be upset. It's one thing to use the same model, but you could at least change the outfit and the pose!
