About Bethany Lopez and Katie Lopez:
Katie and Bethany Lopez are a mother and daughter writing team. Katie is currently navigating through the first grade. She loves reading, writing, and Shopkins. Bethany writes stories for all ages. She enjoys writing full time, and spending time with her family. Katie and the North Star is their first collaboration.
Meet The Illustrator
About Hetty Mitchell:
Graduated from the University of New Mexico in Fine Arts and have worked as an illustrator, designer and art professor all my career. My body of work includes numerous children's books, scholastic materials and editorial illustration. I also have work represented in several private collections including the collection of the late Joan Mondale.
Teaching my craft is a secondary love and I've taught at the college level as well as served as guest speaker for the MN Historical Society, Minnehaha Academy, Harvest Home in Phrao, Thailand and Shamineau East in Inner Mongolia
