Taken to be a worthless drifter by the locals, Widow uses his skills to uncover the truth about his mother’s last investigation. What was she looking for?

What he discovers is a mystery of missing girls and townspeople harboring a deadly secret — a secret they’ll die to protect.

My Thoughts:
This is my first Scott Blade book and I am now a fan. Having said that, it does not seem like Blade has written much else other than this series...

My question is, how did Jack got informed of his mother's condition? How did the town of Killian Crossing know where he was. Who was it that knew where and how to contact him?

This book made me bawl my eyes out at the first salvo! Dang!

I kinda wondered why this book is titled "Gone Forever"...? I guess it is because of deaths in the book...

The plot though... the term that comes to mind is "suicidal" and then saved only by sheer dumb luck. But it is action after action which is nice!

Alan Phillip Ormond did a wonderful job of bringing this book to life!

The Narrator

About Alan Phillip Ormond:
Alan Philip Ormond started his theater career at the age of seventeen in British Columbia, Canada, where he worked in several stage productions. After graduating, he went to England to study acting at East 15 Acting School. Following this, he traveled Europe, where he ran out of money and signed on to a Greek freighter sailing the Mediterranean, Aegean, and Black Seas for a year. He received a rich education in different cultures, world views, and dialects.

Once back in Canada, Alan worked in theater and film, both in front of and behind the lens. On one photographic project on a wild animal ranch he had the opportunity to raise a wild bear cub only a few weeks old that had been separated from his mother. In Barnaby's second year he found him a home at Bear Country USA in South Dakota.

With a downturn in the economy he returned to school to study healthcare, which led him to work in Saudi Arabia for five years. In that time he had the opportunity to travel widely and enjoy many ways of life and outlooks.

With the advent of digital audio, Alan was recently able to return to his passion for storytelling as a narrator. He now resides in Portland, Oregon, with his wife and two kids.
