My Thoughts:
This is my first D.E. Sherman read and I like what I am reading. There was one glitch but I am hoping that it would be a one off thing.
Progressive fantasy is not usually my genre. But having said that, I seem to be reading quite a few od them lately... ironic, I know...
I am not very keen on the theme... reincarnation.... However, I was brought around soon enough! The world building is beautiful!
This book is part of a series which usually means a cliffhagner ending. Even knowing that, I still didn't like it!
This is also my first audiobook listen for both Rylee Kuberra and John Joseph Rogers and I like the way they read. They work well together in bringing this book to life!
