About Dead Before Dawn:
📕 They wouldn't leave him alone. That was their first and last mistake.
Carver, a former black ops operator is in town to help a former squad mate, Jaqueline Rhodes. But she's dead and the people behind it want to frame him for the murder.
It's a bad situation to be in. A real bad one. Especially for the people who think they can mess with Carver and get away with it.
Rhodes' murder isn't the only mystery in this town. There's a lot going on in this rotten town and a lot more conniving and dangerous players standing in Carver's way.
But one thing they didn't count on was just how far Carver is willing to go and how many people he's willing to kill to find justice.

My Thoughts:
This is my first John Corwin read and I'm glad that I stumbled upon him!
Holly is way too trusting for a cop!
I like the plot twist!
I am a visual person. The cover art could use some professional help.
This is my first Austin Rising audiobook and I like the way he reads. It's just that he does not stop during breaks in the scenes. He continues reading like there was no break at all. So, I had to read the ebook at the same time that I am listening to the audiobook because the text have a break and I would understand that there is a break in the scene rather than getting confused when the narrative no longer make sense.
